Default upgradding 1.66 to 1.7+ , or just help me solve a small prob

I have a small problem.

let me give an example of what it does.

lets say I go to the store to for a short time. When I get back my car is still warm sorta. After I start my car and try to leave the RPMs will drop quickly when I raise them up trying to get the car going. It sounds like i'm quickly punching the gas many times... after a few minutes it goes away. But its very annoying and now that I have a light weight flywheel its become more of a problem. It seems like the ECU thinks the Idle is running away so it drops the RPM.

So If anyone knows the solution to the problem please let me know.

Otherwise I guess I need to upgrade. I have a bin that is a very good tune I made a couple of years ago for uberdata 1.66. I really dont want to have to retune my car. I already tried importing my 1.66 verion and it just gave me garbage.

If I can get the import to work, do I have to retune my car?

Nick

Its an issue with the IACV control in Uberdata. I have never really found a good fix besides adding a piece of hose to the inlet side of the IAC valve to act as a orifice. It eliminated the problem all together.

Would this be your way of fixing the chipped ecu idle surge syndrome? I'd like to hear more details of your fix.
