thanks man ;D

Re:Uberteg Software
why won't 1.62 open for me? i went to gimpy's site and DL'ed it from the directory listing, it says i'm missing a .dll file. the old uber worked fine though.
|
Re:Uberteg Software
you need to download all the scripts from the script page
www.angelfire.com/indie/bigwig/uberdata.zip that has all the roms plus some of mine and all that good ---- |
Re:Uberteg Software
whenever a new ver of uberdata comes out, the only thing that changes (typically) is the exe and MAYBE the autoexec.txt. So just copy those on top of your old ones and voila, you've upgraded.
|
Re:Uberteg Software
This software is PFG "pure f--cking genius"
I cant wait to run this new version. Thanks bigwig ;D |

Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
after reading this thread i think im gonna give Uberdata a try...i just have a few questions.
1. is this free? someone said it was $200, but then i downloaded it for nothing. or is the chip burner $200?? 2. Im getting an H23 prelude engine to put in my 92 accord EX. I guess im gonna use the P06 ECU. will this ECU power the H23 correctly? 3. if i can use the p06, what would I have to change, if anything, on the p06 rom file that is packaged with Uberdata? |

Yes. It's free. Chip burners range in price from $60-$150 2. Im getting an H23 prelude engine to put in my 92 accord EX. I guess im gonna use the P06 ECU. will this ECU power the H23 correctly? I don't know my H motors, is that VTEC? If it is, I wouldn't use a P06, but rather a P28. If it isn't VTEC, then it'll run it just fine. Put H23 stock maps on there, and begin tuning. 3. if i can use the p06, what would I have to change, if anything, on the p06 rom file that is packaged with Uberdata? The fuel and timing maps, rev limits, things like that. Give them H23 characteristics, and it should run fine. You don't use the P06 ROM file that is packaged with Uberdata. Use the StockLS ROM, and put H23 maps on it, and run it on your P06 hardware. :D Hehe, Welcome to the world of OBD1... lots of code can run on lots of hardware. It's pretty much all the same stuff. Check out the Uberdata website/forums for more detailed in depth information. |
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
thanks for the info. The H23 is the non-VTEC prelude engine. which is why i want to use that instead of the VTEC H22. (plus its a lot cheaper).
Im gonna have to figure out what numbers i need to input into the software...i have NO CLUE what any of that is...mabye i can find someone who has already done it... |
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
simply go searching around www.pgmfi.org and find a h23 map on there. then you should be able to import the values into uberdata.
Feel free to PM me after you find the h23 map on pgmfi and ill help you import it Edit: i hate pgmfi.org to find ---- so i hooked you up. http://www.pgmfi.org/phorum/download.php/10,275/p14.bin Edit #2: I kind of feared this, but uberdata cant open the p14.bin(h23) because it doesnt have support for it. I have a H22 bin for a p28 on my computer....I know that has vtec but other than that i dont know if the fuel and timing values vary that much....im going to play with the import a lil bit more for ya but i have a feeling in my gut its not going to import this paticular file. if you search long and hard you MIGHT be able to find a p14 rom that is scripted like a p06 or p75... GimpyCivic might have one |
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
wow, thanks a lot for all the info and the links. Is there anyway i could find the data inside that file...? even if i had to enter it all manually it would be worth it for me. if not ill search around till i find something.
|
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
the Accord/Prelude ecus use wack fuel maps that no one has PUBLICALLY released how to interpret... so no not really, unless you feel like figuring it out :)
|
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
DO they have the right software for a P2P ECU? Thanks
James |
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.65
No you need to go OBD I.
|
wont save the basemap i made
i followed the instructions from ecimulti.org and tried to save it but it when i try to open it its not there
|
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.66
Try "saving file as" .bin. then just go back and rename it.
|
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.66
you need to name it and then type .bin or it won't save.
|
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.66
It saves.. just doesn't show up when you try to open it because you didn't put the .bin extension, and the Open Dialog lists files with the .bin extension.
...Type "*.*" and click open, your non-extension bin files will be there. |
Re:Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.66

Re: Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging
hey, ive been running uberdata for over a year now and im still having the cold idle prob...up and down until it gets warm. Ive done a search before and even tried 1.7 and messed with the slide controll.....never worked for some reason the chip wouldnt burn in 1.7.
SO..... anyone whose had the same proble that knows how to fix i would be more than happy....nothing worse than starting your car and hearing a loud exhaust that sounds like a vac leak. thanks guys |
Re: Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging
So is Uberdata dead now? I've been out of the loop for a while now. pgmfi.org seems to gone, ecumulti.org look like its not affiliated, can't find newer links, but no one has officially said its dead...
and what is the most popular way to do this now... Running a pw0, but planned to convert to ODB1 (already have a converted ecu and homemade harness that didn't work, have to double-check my pinouts / chip) and use uber... guess I'll have to do some research now. (Does anything support a pw0 now, there wasn't a year or so ago last time I looked.) |
Re: Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging
pgmfi still down... ecumulti still not working with Honda's.... Is there a new place to go for Uberdata and the rest? Or is Uber simply dead?
I need make a decision soon, my OBD0 distributor seized up, I already have a new ODB1 dizzy, chipped ECU, and conversion harness... do I finish my conversion to ODB1, or buy an new OBD1 dizzy and work with that... Last time I looked there was no support for a PW0, and I don't know yet what dizzy would work on a B16A odb0... Edit: PGMFI is up, just the URL is different now, current URL is http://forum.pgmfi.org/index.php |
Re: Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging
Uberdata = dead, but still useable
|
Re: Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging
