Personal preference... ECU adaptability.

Uberdata is P72/P75 based... Crome is P30 based.

The interfaces are a bit different. The backend code is A LOT different... enjoy.

Crome...

Bought it last night and cant believe I never did before.

Uberdata is good enough for many things, however, after one day of using Crome, I prefer it hands down.

Read a ton in the Crome forum too...

Then when you are ready to tune, DO NOT hesitate to pay out for it...you wont regret it.

if you're looking for free, go with uberdata, it's plenty good enough to get the job done, however, if you're looking to spend a little money, go with the crome pro. in my opinion, uberdata is better than crome free (both free obviously), but the features you get with crome pro are well worth the 149 dollars.
