that rough engagement is b/c you're too rich. setting vtec is the best if you do it on a dyno.

does your ecu have a pa sensor? you had to disable it to get it to idle right? if yes to both of these than there is something wrong...it's presence shouldn't matter in your case. the change in afr in your case could possibly be from heat soak from letting the car sit for a short time after being run hard during your tuning.

yes I have to uncheck PA sensor to get it to idle right, the PA sensor is that tall dark thing next to the chip correct? if so I have one, what the hell does PA sensor do and what does it stand for?... I dont understank why I threw a cel that wont go away though, I've been running without the PA sensor since I got boosted.

PA is Atmospheric Pressure sensor.

It basically tells the ECU what altitude its at based on the pressure it sees and the ECU will make tiny adjustments because of it.

chance are that if he's boosted, that he's crossing over to vtec while building boost ir not already full boost depending on what turbo he has, therefore 11.9 is perfectly fine what you do want to do though is make sure there isn't a sudden change in the afr or timing right before or right after vtec engagement. for example, say you have vtec engage set at 5200, look at your lambda recording on your hi map and lo map at 5200 and make sure the afr is the same right before it switches over to the high map, also make sure you have the exact same amount of timing at the point where it crossed over from low to high map.

I have no idea what happened but its working fine now with the same chip, with no problem, the butt dyno said I am pushing 280-300 hp at 10.5 psi, any way my zt2 caught on fire so I will be running rich until I get a another one. I burned up a tank of gas in 2 days of tuning runs.
