Default TurboEdit and Freelog

I can't seem to get much data with Freelog when i connect, only o2=10 and TPS=11 if i remember correctly, nothing else shows up.

I'm using ng60 code, with the newest version of Turboedit, and Freelog.

The drivers are installed for the Serial to USB converter, i'm using the correct port, and i've quadruple checked the pinouts on the rs232 adapter.

Am i retarded, is there something stupid i'm missing? Do i have to do anything in Turboedit to enable datalogging or is it already embedded in the ng60 code?

lso, is there a jumper or something like j12 i have to cut? BTW it's a PM6 OBD0 Ecu. Also since i'm using a usb to serial adapter cable, do i need the +5v lead attached on my rs232 unit?
