so i have a 97 civic cx d16y7 and when i do turbo (by the end of the summer ) i want to have an ecu i can pretty much just drop in and go does any one offer this? and if so with out killing my bank as im still in high school . ill be running a 14b? dsm 450s dsm bov ram horn mani and thats all im 100% sure about oh and i plan on putting on a y8 im

its not meant to be a ***** out race car and i just want to boost to about 13 at tops.............with this said from the reading iv done is that ill need to do the odo2 to obo1 swap right?..and then from there get a chip with something like crome or uberdata.....

Like D112 said your really close and on the right track. your in Iowa so your a bit far for me but I'm sure you could find a tuner local to you that could get your car did for a fair price. I'm in Ky and I tune for next to nothing compared to most shops around town.

i have looked around me no one really does hondas there the dude that did my motor but he's covrvett dude and theres not even a dyno aroud here lol idk what ill do yet i still have time ..just want to have all my ---- in ine befor i get to deep

ok so im getting 475 back for my taxes so im droping all that for turbo ---- .......when you do the obo2 to obo1 do you swap out ecus? if so what would be a good one to pick up for my setup? im going to a swapmeet the 21 and hoping to pick up a good turbo and a few other things

Chipped p06 running Crome would be best and cheapest. You're also going to need an obd2->obd1 adapter harness. Just don't forget to keep in mind...stock D-series don't like going over 200hp. So if you want this as a daily driver until you're out of H.S., I would highly reccomend keeping that 14b below the 10psi level.
