Default Troubles with 2.5 Motorola Map sensor and Crome

Hey guys, I just bought Xenocron's Motorola 2.5 bar map sensor and Ive got some problems. It will start and run really rough sometimes, or it will fire for like 2 seconds and then die. It's completely random. Here is my setup: Crome 1.5, Precision 780cc's, obd2-0bd1 conversion harness. Now what I have done is started off with a stock p30, added boost, selected the Motorola 2.5 bar (fixed), chose 10 columns for boost, did the turbocharger efficiency & ign retard thing. This is what I always do for my basemaps. Im just wondering since they are big injectors am I going to have to play with the battery offsets? I have just left it as stock for now. Will this make a difference with larger injectors? I have always used DSM 450's and never touched the offset.

Second question is: what is the difference between the adjusted multiplier and the final multiplier? They seem to change automatically so I was just going to leave it alone. In the advanced table what should I leave the 02, cranking, post start up, tip in and tip in additional at? Should they be at .31 as well? I have always left the tip in at 1 while tuning and then at the end adjust it depending on how it reacts when I pound on the throttle. Anyways, I just need to clear a few things up. Thanks

Here are the pics of when I mean in the advance tables. This is currently how the map is made that runs like ***.

I did what you did and adjusted to a 780 cc injectors look at your injector duty cycle afterwards. Its 0%. Will it run good at a bit higher rpm range? I’m thinking your injectors are not even opening up all the way every time so it giving you a different amount of fuel every time. I read somewhere that injectors do need a bit of time to open all the way.

I’m not very good at this stuff. That’s all I can think of. Maybe try putting your idle a bit higher.?? Or step down your injectors or fuel pressure. Im just now reading up on everything so I could be dead wrong just trying to help.

I thing the battery offset is just for when you start to loose voltage the injector has to open longer to get the same fuel. So all I think that is for is if you have a problem with the alternator or battery you will not run lean. Usually you stay around 14 volts running.

Thanks for the reply. I found this write up on Xenocrons site:

http://www.-------------/install/CromeGuide.htm

It answered some of my questions so if anyone else has some problems check out the link. I have the car set at 1500 idle. It really high but that what the only way I could run it between 14 and 15 afr. For some random reason the car now runs on the map sensor. I tried like literally 50 different chips. I think it had something to do with the FROG wiring harness as once I took it all off and pressed all the pins in it ran fine. Data logging with Freelog works great. Vacuum might read a little low but the boost is dead on! The most messed up part of this is that now that the car is tuned for 10psi, 11.5afr in boost, it now idles at 10.0 I took out like 30% fuel at idle and nothing has changed. I think the wideband is messed so Ill have to take a look at it.

Even though I have 780cc injectors, I used the offset values for the 1000cc and it ran/idled great

What do yo mean by 60? Are you talking about the advanced fuel multiplier offset? I have it set at 30 right now. I honestly hate large injectors. Every car seems to run like *** unless I set idle at 1500.
