Ya, that sounds like a decent deal if it works.
The bad thing about that stuff is A) Used Electronics, you never know if they have been fried and B) With the TechEdge, you don't know if he put it together, or bought it assembled. Also, if he put it together, he could have put it together wrong.
Plus, replacement senors for that unit are like $170-$180..
...I enjoy my PLX, and my ECU to datalog. About the same price, you get less (no palm and ----) but I know for a fact it works. There is a lot of software out there depending on your OBD that you cna choose from that is still being actively developed, and the sensors are $50-60 to replace. :hrug::
..there is also the Innovate unit which people like for some reason.. but even it seems like a more logical choice than that used deal.

Hey, I was looking at the PLX M-300. Is that what you use? Can I just get that and datalog through the ecu w. ecu control and turboedit? If so, then i'll probably go with that.... more well known for same price.

That's exactly what I use... ECUControl will do wonders for you.
I'm currently working on porting the map trace and wideband code from my OBD1 datalogger to OBD0 so that Nick and put the code into ECUControl.. should be done soon.

i love my plx m300 as well. even if i had paid extra for an lcd display and data logging software with a wideband, i would still data log through the ecu, plus, like already mentioned, replacement sensors are about 40 bucks with shipping brand new from the vw dealer L1H1's are expensive as hell, although some guy did send me one stuck in a vx manifold that i guess he wasn't aware was there, or it's value
