TE tune with O2 on or off?

Re: TE tune with O2 on or off?
Having a bad o2 sensor can skew your afr's quite a bit.
I've monitored about 4 different cars with my wb with the o2 on and it reads mid 12's-mid 13's, on average.
Switched out the o2 sensor with my own(brand new) and it went up to 14's.

Re: TE tune with O2 on or off?
I have been experiencing the same thing with T/E and my O2 sensor settings. I currently have no O2 sensor hooked up. With the O2 setting in T/E to 'ON' I get a CEL fairly quickly (even tho the car seems to run just fine) even when maintaining constant speed, but with the option "OFF IN BOOST' it takes longer to throw a CEL. It seems to take a length of deceleration to trigger it. I haven't tried it yet with it 'OFF' (although now this seems the logical thing to do)
Now the problem i am having is i am getting terrible gas mileage. I know that i need to tune my fuel maps, but don't really know where to start. I have a Wideband O2 setup from Innovate, and have done some datalogging, but am hesitant to start modifying my fuel maps since i don't fully understand where to start. does anyone here have any tips on a basic procedure to follow for starting to tune?
BTW, the .bin that i am running is one i found on Xenorons site. The description sounded very close to the setup i am running, and i have been driving with this setup (safely?) for about 6 months now. I also have 450CC injectors from a DSM installed.
Also, would hooking my O2 sensor back up result in better mileage? Or is the stock O2 not sensitive enough with a modified engine setup to perform adequately?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: TE tune with O2 on or off?
i too get o2 codes with TE and my plx m300. I have a chipped pm7 ecu with a d16a1. The code pops up after driving for about 20 mins or so. I have the o2 turned off completly too...but the car runs the same when i get the code (i think it runs the same) so i just ignore it.
