Default swapping ecu's?

i was browsing through some old post on the forum, and a few people that had boosted accords were asking about swapping there ecus. this got me to thinking that since i'm about to turbo, i would swap my obd 0 ecu to an obd 1 ecu out of a civic.
if i was to do this, would the factory harness plug right into the other ecu? if yes, what ecu would i need to purchase?
i have the f22a1 non vtec. would i be able to use a vtec ecu? sorry for all the questions, it just seems like an easier idea to swap to obd 1, better options for tuneability. thanks for all the help

Nope, need a conversion harness.

Nope, well i guess it might work...when it thinks that its activating VTEC and its really not, your maps might get messy. I dunno

Default Re:swapping ecu's?

for the v tec fuel map, if i'm chipping the ecu, could i just leave settings for fuel at the vtec crossover?

if not, which civic ecu should i be looking for to complete this swap?
