I wouldn't rule out the head gasket. I had ARP studs with a new gasket sparyed with copper spray and my head gasket was still leaking. Take the radiator cap off, start the car and watch the coolant. If it starts bubbling when it gets warm, you have yourself a fucked head gasket.

Like what was said above, check the thermostat and make sure the radiator cap is good. Even if it's new, it can be bad.

fuuuck no, not blockgaurd. I think it is the headgsaket, because i went all day today without heating up, and it didnt start to overheat until i pnuched it, then i warmed up, so i figure the pressure is pushing the coolant out of teh headgasket. DAMMIT! What can i do to avoid this next time, its a brand new headgasket. I remember when it was cold, that it would bubble here and there for a while, so yeah, i guess i need a new one. ----@!

get the deck/head machined smooth.

i was thinking it could also be your fuel pump.

I can't believe you got 190, i only get 160, I think my head gasket is gone.

ive got a walbro 255hp waiting to go in, when i find te time to drop the tank. But i think im gonna wait till my other block gets here to do anything, i remember when i pulled hte ehad last time on this one, the person before me did a shitty job and scratched teh deck all up, so thats probably my problem. They suck.

----, i just deleted what i wrote, and it was goddamn long. Oh well, heres what i typed in a nutshell.

I went to retorque them, and two outta 5 that i did, wouldnt tighten at all, they would just spin, and the stud would come up, not turn, jhust come up, liek teh block is stripped. WTF!?!?!? What the hell would casue this. I only did 5, i stopped at the 2nd fucekd up one. I have a block on teh way, but now im stranded, wtf is wrong with this block. THey were originaly two step torqued to 60 ft. lbs. Dammit!
