Problems burning a chip with Burn1
Recently i bought my Burn1 chip burner and i already intall it. I have my ecu chipped and the car runs great with my actual bin.
I have another 27SF512 burned chip with a old basemap that didnt works (veeery rich map), so here's what i do:
1. I load my actual bin to the burner buffer
2. Save the bin into my UBERDATA folder
3. Take out my actual chip and put older chip
4. Do Erase chip - OK
5. Do blank check - OK
6. Load my actual bin into burner buffer
7. Burn my actual bin into the old chip - DONE
Now i put the old chip with my actual bin ( it supposed to works as normal), but the car acts like if i put the old bin
Here's the values used on flash&burn
start in 008000
end in 00FFFF
for a 27sf512

Try another chip. Sometimes they go bad. Ive only ran into one bad chip but it does happen. Another thing you could check is your port settings. Burn1 has to be in port 3 or 4. It's something simple you just have to work through it. Try doing things in differant orders then you have been. You could also try and open the file in crome and burn it from there if your having problems with flash&burn.
