the vafc has been in the car for like 2 years without problems....so i really dont think it is the problem...
could the map sensor be causing the idle problems....or maybe a vaccum leak somewhere

The injectors had just been installed today...not the vafc.
the car has been boosted for 2 years

what size injectors? if they are 450cc DSM injectors the idle settings should be at -46 or -47. 450-47% = 240cc (stock size). but a high idle usually means a vac leak... i'm assuming the only thing you installed was the injectors and then this problem started happening, my guess would be that the o-rings/injector seals are leaking causing a vac leak.

There was a vaccum line unhooked.....plugged it back in and now it idles perfectly.
here are my settings
1000: -45
1500: -44
2000: -42
2500: -40
3000: -40
3500: -40
4100: -39
4700: -38
5000: -38
5500: -38
6000: -38
7000: -38
8000: -37
9000: -37

the only problem i am having now is if i try to hold the idle at like 3000 rpm with the clutch in...every few seconds it drops to 2000 then back to 3000....almost like a rev control or somethin....any ideas?

First off, I would fatten up settings below 3000 RPMs due to injector latency. This will help compensate for the time it takes to open injector.

Remember, your stock maps are pusling for 240 injectors which do not take as long to open as 450s due to the smaller amount of mosing mass.

Personally, Iw ould probably compensate 5% decreasing by 1% as you increase to 3000 RPMs.

..essentially, -40%, -39%, -38%, -37% -36%.. and hold -36% across the board, maybe -35% above VTEC cross over..

^I agree.

You're idling too high anyway. You need to enrich that more on the low end side. When I switched from OBD2a to OBD1, I didnt reconfigure my settings. My idle was very erratic which pretty much jumping from 800 RPM to almost 2000RPM. I went ahead and enriched fuel under the 3K area.... it now idles like stock again

I have the idling problem figured out....it was an unhooked vaccum line. Now im idling at about 750 with the above settings.
