part number change on GM 3 bar MAP?!?!

Default part number change on GM 3 bar MAP?!?!
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ search: 16040749 (the MAP everyone says to buy...)

says that it was discontinued...will there be a problem using the 12223861 with TE or other programs? i doubt it, just thought i would ask...


also just wanted to let everyone know! BTW only like $51 brand new...

Shouldn't be as long as the voltage output is the same as the old one. Which I believe it would be if it were a "replacement" for the old one.
