Default P1399, I am lost with this one!

I started my 2000si today with the turbo installled,
specs are
B16a2
Turbonectics state II turbo
450 blue tops
SAFC II
Waiting on Wide band
Stock plugs gapped at .30 in
OBDII (for now)


Okay, so i started it up and it ran like crap for a few minutes after i put the Hi Lo's stated in the engine manangement forum to get it started. The car had the SAFC II in it way before i started putting in the turbo and it ran fine with no CEL. The only other electrical thing i have done is installed 10 ohm resistors from radio shack on each injector harness. I have not touched timing yet or installed any BTM. It ran great at idle no misfires, no lights, little rich, it revs good, but after letting it idle for about ten mins the CEL blinks and puts code p1399 as a pending code. I get no other codes and no specific misfire codes. The car starts to idle like crap. If i let it cool down and restart it idles great again then after some minutes the light pops up again and it idles shitty and rich again. I can't find any diagnostics. this is what ALLDATA has for the code P1399
"Honda does not supply a diagnostic flow chart for this code. P1399 is a random misfire code and Honda/Acura has reported for various models that this could be caused by clogged EGR ports. In addition there is the possibility that the valve cleareance specification may be out of range."

I have searched the forums on here and found nothing. I looked in my Factory civic manual and there is no diagnostics for si egr because it doesnt look like it has one. I have not messed with valve clearence and it ran great before i started installing the turbo. This code does not show up in my factory manual.

Please advise me on this issue.

My first sentence is unclear, i started it up and it ran crappy for a couple minutes then all of a sudden it cleared out and the idel was great. Then like 8-10 mins later is when it started the erratic idle. I have not actually driven the car yet. If i turn it off and then on again it idle great then a few minutes later it pops the CEL and idels crappy.

ditch teh afc, get the wideband, go obd1

Guess what, that didn't help. I know exactly what i need to do with the ecu, but for now i am going to use the afc. AFC's will work, they just aren't the best thing. Help someone else!!!

maybe your a/f is messed up try messing with the fuel if you dont have a wideband check the plugs

Found it, i never set the safc 6in 6out, stupid mistake. Its good for now!!

Now after i get it past like 2300 rpms the idel surges kinda like if it were hitting a rev limiter. I havent reserched this one yet in the forum, so don't blast me to hard if its already been answered. Let me know though if you have any ideas. I gotta leave cause my chick is pretty much pissed because i spend too much time with the cars around here.
