very true from what my experience. the few people around me that tune good and have a reputation think there god and there time is worth $4564645/hr

sevral times ive wanted to buy equipment instead of pay a tuner but when it all comes down to it, it just seems like to much info and my a.d.d. kicks in and i end up going the easy way

Not all of the Big Dog tuners are snobby on here, you have to realize that they are very busy...people pay them good money to do what they do. And even though you might have the programs, the burners, the kits etc., they're pretty much useless without at least a wideband to go along with it. The rest of it pretty much boils down to math and trial and error on the street/dyno to see what works.

I agree...definately some rude and sometimes down right obnoxious people on here...but hey, ya take the good with the bad I guess. I've also found over the years it's easier to get answers to questions on HMT if you have a pretty good idea of the work you're doing and what's involved in it. I see alot of either (1) lazy people who don't like to do their own research into their projects, or (2) people who have no clue what the project is in the first place lol.

That's a pretty sweet idea. It'd take a while to make a complete movie, but once done, sell them for $10 a pop or something.
