o2 sensor bung?

do i really need a o2 sensor i have my dp made but i dont have a o2 sensor bung in there yet? i know ill need it when i get my car tuned with wideband right? but for now is it necessary.

i guess you could put the O2 in the manifold. if your using a HF.

You'll more than likely have a nice CEL staring you down without it...
