O2 sensor bung, where to find? what are u guys using?
Ok, I have had it with the local V8 domestic shops around here telling me my O2 sensor for my B18B1 has special ASIAN threads and won't screw on to anything.
I am making my downpipe and need to weld a bung on there but can't find anything that will screw onto the O2 sensor.
Any suggestions? And what are you guys using? And no I can't use my stock downpipe because I sold it and I am going with 2.5" exhaust downpipe only and nothing else.
Thanks.

you can go to Kragen,AutoZone,PepBoys and look for those Help! packages. ----, I forgot what's it called. But it's use for Spark Plugs. And you cut it in half and you can use those for O2 Sensor bung. It should be on this forum. Do a search.

Yeah take an O2 with you to the local hard ware store. You're going to need either an 18mm or 21mm nut. Not sure which on a Honda but it shouold be one of those. Just drill a hole in the pipe slightly larger then the nut (so you can sink the nut in) and weld closed.

Did a search and nothing there. What is the name of the HELP thing that I can use? None of the hardware stores have a nut that will fit the O2 sensor. I have tried everywhere. I am not too interested in paying $10 for a nut unless I have to.
The threads look like they are 5/16". 1/2" is too big and 3/8" is too small. The local hardware stores say that they cannot thread a nut to an odd size; it has to be regular plumbing sizes.
Any other suggestions?
