Need help form a tuner that can make me a simple .bin
Ok here is the thing, in uberdata the rpm levels for low cam cant go higher than 8000 even if the rev limiter is set higher than that, so I cant make a map for 8000+
I also cant disable the check for vtec selenoid and vtec oil pressure (its doesnt have the feature but crome pro does), I dont have money to buy crome pro if I did I would have a vtec ecu. I need those options disabled so that no check engine comes on and the maps still change over at the vtec set point.
All I want is a stock p72bin with these options disabled (including vtec water temp and speed check I guess) its fairly simple IF i had crome pro.
thanks anyways

yeah dude, all of that can be done in uber also. hell, all of what you're trying to do can be done in crome 'free', you don't need to purchase a license to be able to de select senors. the only thing you get with the license is data logging, auto tune, dyno tools and all the other 'extra' features, but you can still do the basic stuff with the free version of crome, or uber.

on crome pro you can deselect vtec selenoid check, well atleast thats what ive read on pgmfi.org from the crome creator himself.
I have made the hybrid bin and looks fine but id prefer to really have the vtec maps cause they have much more resolution and will result in a better base tune.
How would a stock b18c1 map work on a stock lsvtec? too rich? too lean?? any tips?' thanks in advance

i don't really understand what you're trying to do. you say you have a vtec motor, but want to disable the vtec solenoid, if you do that, you won't have vtec at all. as far as using a gsr/p72 stock map, yes, that is your best starting point. there is not going to be a perfect basemap for lsvtec, you have to tune one for your own car. i do suggest starting with the p72 map, that is what i start with for lsvtec's since essentially, that's what the motor is, 1.8 vtec
oh, hi and lo maps have the same resolution, i think you're a little confused as to what you're looking for here.
the thing is you forgot I have an LS ecu.
I read a P30 map with 20% more fuel is also good, and since my cams and head is Pr3 should I go wit that or the P72 basemap.
thanks a ot
PD: where do I disable the vtec selenoid in crome free (not the vte speed check or coolant check)

I've only glanced over this thread, because it seems like the guy who needs the lpe is being hard headed... why are we not using P75 code? ...and modifying the RPM Multipliers? I'm sure UD can do that, if not, someone needs to jump in Blake's ***.
