MPFI Swap. Code 4. Tried everything :(
I've tried running new wires from the ECU twice and have tried 3 distributors. Nothing ------- works. I've spent the last few days checking and triple checking. The only thing I havent tried is another ECU b/c I don't have another to try. I've been super patient up until now but im seriously starting to lose hope. Help me obi wan.
Code 4 is Crank Angle Sensor.

What directions did you follow?
Make sure the CYP, CKP, and TDC sensor polarities are correct. If the wires are reversed, you will kick codes. TDC dictates base timing for the ECU - if correctly polarised, the startup is quick and idle smooth. Reversed, it takes a second and idles rough. The wrong combinations of polarities will sometimes blame the wrong sensor - I can remember which it is, but CYP and CKP, one is determined bad by how it synchs with the other - you can still have both polarities reversed and everything fucked.

werd. Throw a timing light on it. Ive had those sensors wired all silly before, and it was showing like 40* at idle lol
I assume you have a multi-meter? trace your dizzy pins back to the ECU so you can figure out what need to be switched.
