I always thought the MAP was RELATIVE. This makes a lot of sence if its absolute since I also live in the denver area..WESTMINSTER and comunte to GOLDEN for school, ~6000 ft ele. Im gonna do some more experimenting, I have some ideas how to make the ECU read the wideband so I can datalog through the ECU and get the whole story. Ill keep you guys updated

Anyway, the method I used to make a datalogging table for my Techedge was take 2 readings: one a full VAC and one at ambient. Then, write an equation. (full VAC being idle, ambient being key on, engine off)
