I would be asking what kind of transmission should i use that could even handle a cold air intake, then a turbo. Chrysler builds crap especially in the transmission department.

But yeah, run the injectors, AFC, and the BTM. Why do you need a FMU too? BTM's work great on retarding timing. YOu probably don't need the rails unless the injectos don't fit in the stock rails.

The XJ AW4 is a brick house. Its the most solid part of the truck. They take tons of miles and rediculous abuse. That is the least of my worries. Even if it did ---- the bed they are a dime a dozen and can be had for $100 or less.

I have built all of the big 3's trannies and chrysler by far sucks the most. Junk clutches, junk converters, just basically crap designs. I will never own a chrysler product after rebuilding transmissions for 10 years and seeing how they are designed and where they break. BUT WE ALL HAVE OUR EDUCATED OPINIONS! :4

Funny you think that about the AW4. Our tranny builder thinks they are stout.

Well if you work at a chrysler dealer or have a biased chrysler trans builder, yeah they are probably stout for a chrysler but they aren't against GM's or Ford's comparable trans. Run that turbo chrysler, im sure it will be fine. ::)

Trust me, HMT is just about there. People are getting fed up with all the assholes and the newb bashing. Take this post for instance. This isnt General Discussion yet 90% of the repsonse have nothing to do with my question.
