Idle help w/crome

Idle help w/crome
Motor
b20block, b16a2 head, NA, all stock components
obd1 conversion, crome 1.2, burn 1
Problem.
Whenever I put the stock obd2 ecu out of the 99si it will idle down fine and run like it's suppose to. But when I put the obd1 ecu in the car will not idle down past 1300 no matter what I move it to crome w/ the idle adjustment or manipulating fuel or timing adjustments. I have used stock maps, maps from xenocron, etc and same result. I have tried probably 6 or so different maps plus adjustments to them and still can not get the car to idle down, the maps run fine through out the rpm range but never will idle down to where it's suppose to.
Cliffs
will not idle down past 1300 or so
It will surge like a vacuum leak up to 2k and drop back down to 1300 when you give it gas then it will go back to normal.
Tried 3 different ecu and different chips.
Check timing w/gun 16.5 degrees
What the hell am I doing wrong?

Re: Idle help w/crome
Use the newest 1.5 version.
Get the car idling and warmed up. Make sure the coolant is bled very very good of any air bubbles.
Unplug the IACV and get the car to idle steady and fairly low (700ish) w/ the bypass screw on TB.
Plug IACV back in and use the IACV duty cycle slider in CROME to obtain a good idle. Work in small steps on the adjustments.
Once that is done make sure your fuel cells in the idle portion of the map are nice and smooth relative to each other. Put some electrical load on the car to get it to reference some higher load idle cells, and get the A/F steady.
If you don't get any noticeable idle changes w/ the IACV slider (newer CROME version only), you have a wiring problem or your IACV sucks.
Good luck w/ it.

I didn't know that the IACV slider worked in newer versions, I knew it never worked in 1.2.
Thanks again.
