i got like a zilllion 27c256's and a home made 12" uv eraser; I spent about $20 on the chips (i have at leasst 70 of em) and about another $20 on the eraser ($12 light off ebay + $6 florecent fixture at wal-mart)

plus i've sold a few of these so i guess i can say i got my chips/eraser for free

 

so are you saying you want to sell me a few chips?

---- that UV ---- its pain in the *** unless you have a romulator and just use the 27's for the final burn. Just get 29's and flash till your hearts content. digikey and moates and now the premier supplier www.-------------

 

who's the big supplier on romulators these days?

no; but the how to goes like this:
-Buy 100 eprom's from a guy on ebay for $35 shipped; sell half to some idiot for more than you paaid
-find uv light on ebay/topbulb.com/anywhere - i paid $12 for a 12" uv; cant remember the model number; girl actually sent me two because she took a week to get it out and felt bad so i have a spare
-go to wal-mart purchase florecent fixture
-use to erace eproms
-burn; since you have so many you'll figure out your tune before you run out

and thats a lot better than spending $300 on a romultaor piece of crap or $175 on a ostritch. Uber is working on support for the pgmfi rtp board ($40) for obd1 so i'll probably be picking one of those up when support is finalized and i get ready for my new motor. I'm alwasy wanting to tweak ---- and rtp would be great

Moates sells a romulator now called ostrich I believe. I have use a pocket romulator and thats good too. You are looking about $175 for either.

 

that rtp is very intriguing, ill probably do obd1 convert and uber my crx. It'd be cool for on the fly tweakage.

 

Uberdata is not on the fly tuning yet.
