If you want to get the cheapest 29's, go to digikey.com and enter "AT29C256-70PC-ND" into the search function. They are 30 cents cheaper than moates. You also get a bulk discount at digikey, not sure if moates does that.

yeah, I suppse you are correct. But he can grab some other crap on there to make it $25. You only have to get a handful of chips to get that.

And then you have to pay a minimum of $3.85 for Priority shipping on top of that $25.

yeah i got that a few weeks ago and got my usb data cable today.
oh yeah i got the one that came with an 29c256 chip so i have two.
