hello everyone...

i got a electric scope and i got a bosch knock sensor from a alfa romeo engine.

how can i use it to detect knock?

the sensor got 3 wires.
as far as i know one is signal and the other two are +5v and -5v.

how can i provide it with 5v?
and how do i need to set the scope?

ive never seen a knock sensor with anything but one wire

 

agreed what obd our you ?? i to have only seen 1 wire knock sensors .. then again ive never seen a alfa romeo engine

 

hook the scope up to your plug wires...detect knock that way

I believe the sensor has a connection for the shielding. Power and signal. In what order they come in, i'm not sure.
