Tuning in Wisconsin?

Default Tuning in Wisconsin?

Wondering where in wisconsin i would go for a dyno and tuning. i live in sheboygan so milwaukee is close for me. does anyone know of a place in milwaukee?

I am in sheboygan also, what do you have to tune? There is a chasis dyno in manitowac if you are going to tune it yourself. Also there is a good place in illinois just over the border

Cool a fellow sheboyganite.. i have a eg hatch with a b16a2 and a p28 chipped with usb cable. The current ship came from a d16z6 running 12psi with 440 injectors. i am going to be running 7-8 psi and need to get the chip burned for my setup and then get it tuned once i have it runnning.

ok, i am sorry i don't know anyone that burns chips around here. I have a 86 mitsubishi starion that i am using the megasquirt management system on. Sorry i couldn't be more help.

No its cool man. i am thinking of just buying a burner and burning the chip myself. however once i burn the chip i have no clue how to tune it after i get the car running. do you know anyone who does tuning localy?

what program would you be using?
Do you have a laptop to do it with if needed? I dont know many people around here as it is and i don't know any tuners either, sorry. Li ke I said i have the mega squirt system and that is all i know how to use.. I have a friend in cedarburg that drifts maybe i can see if he knows anybody.

i was thinking of using crome and i have a laptop to use. it should be plenty sufficient. is a gateway 1.3 ghz.

I have heard that crome is not that hard to use, did you check any of the forums on here for help or base maps that you could download to get started?

I was told to get a base map for a p30 and start there. so i am going to start looking for one of those today. then ill have to get a burner or an ostrich and go from there.

alright sounds good. Good Luck with you project. It is nice to see somebody doing more than a little bolt on stuff around here, are there more out there like that that like building and tuning. where in sheboygan are you?
