I'm gonna get my p06 chipped and the stuff needed to tune my ecu my self. Looking for opinons on the software's complexity. Is the software so complicated any noob would be sure to blow is motor or is there some type of learning curve?

I'm looking to make modifications as i buy addons and such and really don't want to have to call some guy from out of town to come down and charge me a arm and a leg to tune my ecu.

 

DIY and hondata dont rhyme well.

Around here we reference TurboEdit, Uberdata, and Crome as the DIY tuning way of the honda world.

Was thinking uberdata as well but to be honest i only know what they do, not what the diffrence between the two are. Care to fill me in?

 

Uberdata - Tuning software for obd1 ECU's
Crome - Another for obd1
TurboEdit - For obd0 ecu's, until wilson decides to release 3.0.

Should also mention that UberData is free and Crome is free, but CromePro is $149.

Seems like a lot of the UberData guys are moving to Crome too.
