moreso, if you just cut power to the ECU (pull the fuse or battery) it should return to factory settings again.
I wouldn't assume these boolean based ECUs to store data without being able to 'lose' it to.
Or am I completely wrong?

Pulling the hazard fuse in the underhood fusebox kills power to part of the ECU... the volatile RAM chip that stores said settings - labelled OKI M5128 in OBD0 and who cares about crappy OBD1 *hits UberTeg*

obd2 learns and adjusts its self, very gay, but obd0 dosent, i hate obd2... just convert to a standalone obd0 system if u have obd1/2. that makes it easy

If you go to this website it will explain about the Ecu overridding mods your honda and it will tell you how to get aroud it. I have been using the mod in my 2000 civic SI for over 4 months now and I don't have any problems.
