Default Hey I've got a 95 ex

I'm looking for a way to cheaply boost 300 hp to the motor I'm trying to do it under a grand if anyone has a solution I'm all ears. If you do have a way email me at tim_harasti@hotmail.com. Oh yeah and you happen to have any parts that will help me attain this I'm definetely looking for them.

How much it would cost to obtain your goal is directly proportional to where you start.

Mind giving us a little information on what you're building on?

[edit]

..and you say a 95 EX, keep in mind this a modification forum. Let us know if you have it still stock, or what's been done internally (motor)..

300 horsepower for 1 grand on a d16z6 not likely...
Unless you're reall good at striking deals.

I'd just save the money and buy the quality parts so your motor won't be halfassed together.

I mean alone the manifold, turbo and downpipe will probably run you $500-600 depending on turbo you select.
Then you'll need fuel management, and oil return/feed.

For 300 horsies, you'll have to be pushing more then 10 psi. I was barely able to make 275 with 10 psi (mind you this is with terrible spiking). You'll definently notice a huge difference in just boosting, but I wouldn't be looking to get 300 horsepower for $1000... its just going to be to poorly put together or junk parts and things are going to break.

I've learned that you have to put some effort and patience into your car if you want to make it last, and run at its best

Alright well in answer to all the questions the car is bone stock right. I'm thinking of going with a b16a swap and then working from there now because it'll be a lot easier to find parts. So if anyone out there has a b series turbo kit let me know.
