according to the wiring manual you only connect 5 of the 10 wires, is that right?

On the FAQ we have the instructions for a PM6 and a V-afc. I was thinking of using that to set it up, are they the same, anyone that has done this before can help out. If I use that guide in the FAQ's I get all wires accounted for but the funny thing is that the harness does have a pink wire, for vtec in the v-afc, but I have no clue what it would be for on the s-afc

Any help, opinions. I'm having my brother coming over to heelp me tomorrow do this. anyone

Well, no one knows? I've been sick since wednesday so I have not been able to do ----, but I think I'll just hook it up like it says in the FAQ even tough the FAQ install is for the V-afc, not the S-afc, but should be the same. As I see it I'll have 2 extra wires, the blue and a pink.

 

The blue wire is commonly used as a 0-5v input. Sometimes hooked up to your O2 as a make-shift A/F gauge.

Since your stock single wire O2 will register form 0-1v, you'll be able to get an idea (as good of an idea as you can with a narrowband O2) of your A/F.

Oops, forgot to answer.. I don't know what the pink wire on the SAFC is for. Download the manual from www.ApexiUSA.com. It'll list all of the wire's functions.

ok but I checked the website before I didn't find any info about the wires or what each one is for. I don't know I'll keep checking for those other 2 wires.

 

I was wondering the same thing too because im about to hook up my s-afc on my 90 hatch si but i cant find what the wire diagram to find out what the wires go to. I know that someone has done this set-up on this site.
