ok so i ripped out of a parking lot and ran through the gears, pulled great, well i get to the stop light to race 91backinblack, light turns red and i try to go, and my ---- just bogs out and dies, CANT get it started

so i push it off the street, still cant get it to start so brett comes back to check ---- out, still not starting, i thought it was my battery being dead but it was at 12.4 volts so you THINK it should start anyways atleast

well i cant remember how i got it started but i finally got it going and it just sounded like something was holding the air back and the motor sounded stifled. so we tried reaching up in the turbo to see if something got sucked into the compressor housing, no such luck, nothing there

well i gimped home, the car was running ok i guess, well i start it the next morning and it idled fine, and reved fine, but once youd get past 2k, it would bump like it was missing, well i drove it to town anyways and you could almost just watch my gas gauge drop so i didnt know what to think.

i brought it to my dads and pulled the plugs, BLACK as hell, first i thought i wasnt getting much of an ignition, well then i thought if the gas is burned, and not wet, it HAS to be sparking.

ive come to the conclusion that its running rich as hell and i cant figure out why, i thought i might have fried my map sensor so i put a new one in, same thing, anyone think of anything i can check?

i looked at my afc wiring and its still all good, checked the settings, still the same, the thing was pulling GREAT all night until i rodded on it through 4th, so im confused

so i dont know what the hell else to do

start buy changing your plugs and re gapping them, with my setup i was going through a set of plugs every other day until i re gaped them

 

i did, i bought new ones and re-gapped them to .40

 

bring it down to 30ish

well now im throwing a code 14, iacv, so it said check the yel/bl wire for 12 volts and it didnt have it, so i was like, wtf, i didnt think anything happened to the wire, so im just going to replace the iacv tomorrow and try that
