You can stay OBD-0 and use a PS9 ecu to control Vtec via 1 wire using Turbo Edit

Well, I think the PM6 could have the hardware added on but your going to need to either send it to someone with the knowledge of how to add that or attempt it yourself. The PS9 already has the hardware in it from factory, as it was an Automatic ecu. Using the Vtec activation in T.E. just enables the lockup solenoid in the ecu and uses it to function Vtec So your best bet to save time and for simplicity would be to hunt down a PS9. It took me a little while to find one, but they are around.

couldn't you find an auto PM6 with that pin already in that? Or is it not the same?

PS9 = Auto PM6

you can also use your PM6 and an additional RPM activated switch...same thing really as using the PS9

Yes thats true as well, I was going to go the RPM activated switch route, but decided to find a PS9 and do all my Vtec, fuel and ignition right from the ecu. Just keeping it simple and less wiring.
