This may be a dumb quesiton. But what the ---- ..... Whenever I crush the throttle to the floor, my gas hand sinks .... and sinks ...... and sinks. BUT!! If I slow down, or change my rate of acceleration (i.e. slow down), it starts to rise again. Although I think it doesn't give me ALL of my fuel back. And thoughts? And no, it's not an oil leak. Already looked. Thanks.

It's magic... No need to know why it happens, we'll just say its magic...
Nah, maybe it's just splashing around in your tank and the float isn't getting an accurate enough reading. Thats my guess, but I'm not sure bro.

So what if it's full, floored, and sinking? I'm not losing any power, but it still is ------- wierd. And plus, sometimes the gas that it shows I'm loking doesn't come back until I turn my car off and set there for like 2 hours, or it just doesn't come back at all. Thanks.

ok listen, Im trying to help you rule things out..
never answered my question, just acted like a smart ***..
I asked, does it do it EVEN WHEN ITS COMPLETELY FULL??
if YES then how can the damn fuel splash around in a tank.
go get a pop bottle. Fill it up half way and shake it. Now top it up COMPLETELY and shake, see what I mean
