Default Help: E-Manage and CEL

I installed my Greddy kit on my 95 DX /w D16z6 a few days ago and after wireing up the e-manage I get a CEL 3 - Map sensor. all of my connections are soldered and I checked and rechecked and rechecked all of the jumper settings and dial settings. The map voltage comming into the emanage is 3v with ignition on like its supposed to be and comming out its like .5v - 1v and thats whats throwing the CEL. Please Help.

Heh, cross posting boards, eh?

Hrm, if you're absolutely sure you didn't mix up the MAP in, and MAP out lines, you may have a defective unit, or, a setting in the unit may be very wrong.

eManage should allow for you to scale back your MAP sensor by a user-defined amount, but you should also be able to *not* scale it back. Basically, set the unit to 0% correction, and the same voltage going in, should be the same voltage coming out.

Have you verified this with a voltmeter, or are you using a feature of eManage?

Yeah, I normally dont cross post boards but i'm racking my brain trying to figure this ---- out.
I thought about using the dials on the front to scale it down but the first setting is for 2000 RPM's and its throwing the code at idle which is around 1000 RPM's.
Yes, i'm using a voltmeter to check the MAP voltage.

Hrm, I don't know what the MAP voltage is supposed to be at idle.

I wouldn't be able to check myself until I get home tonight.

Maybe someone with a stock MAP sensor setup can check our idle voltage?

Stock voltage is 3v according to helms manual. Its deffently the emanage screwing ---- up, i've tried multiple setting on the setup ***** on the front: 2-8-A, 2-8-B, 2-8-E. I'm gonna try and change some of the jumpers inside in a little while, see if I can figure it out, right now its set up the way greddys instructions said to set it up.

Shouldn't be 3v at idle though.

While the car is running, 3 volts is WOT, 0inHg.
