"it only has one wire" you just proved me right, it has to make its own voltage because it only has 1 wire going to it, lets look at it, it would not be a + wire, it would not be a - wire, so it has to be a single wire to tell the computer that it has knock, so when knock happens it makes its own AC voltage to let the computer know. trust me i have my ASE sert. in electril

you cannot do that with the knock sensor, and with the heated o2, i think it needs to be toggled off and on (because my friend with the apexi power FC, it shows when the heater is on and off. ) so i dunno for sure.
