Hardwiring the IAT on obd1-vert car
ok; as some of you know my obd0-obd1 conversion has been anything but smooth sailing. I've got all the bugs worked out i think except one. My IAT sensor. It's causing the car to flood like a bitch at start up and run like *** because it's pissing fuel in.
I checked both wires on the IAT plug with my multi-meter and they're both getting about 4.6-4.8v of current when the key is turned on. Now; something tells me this is not right; also the green wire on the IAT (+5v) is not making connection with pin D22 on my ecu (+5v for the sensor) but yet somehow its energized.
Now can one just run 2 new wires from the IAT and connect directly to ecu pins D13 and D22 (tapped) and run with that? I'll double check the rest of my temp senders to see if maybe its not something stupid but i need to get this car running and the iat is not wanting to allow that.
