Default GM OBDII tuning for hmt set up .....

Newb here on hmt .... but not new to putting turbo cas together . Im setting up a small turbo (A.R T3 ) on my 97 Oldsmobile Aurora with a Northstar 32v 4.0 V8 (same as caddilac 4.0 Northstar) ....... its obdII and its gm so i figuerd ther has to be some way to tune the pcm/ecu for fuel , spark etcc... cant find any info online .... can one help thanxx !!!

first you're gonna have to explain what an A/R T3 is

HP tuners will be your best bet. Look into them.

A/R = Air Research ... witch is the brand of the turbo .

mounting and plumbing everything is not a problum for me . but the thing is ......... i cant find a way to tune anything on this damn car ! there is no way to tune the pcm or the ecu. does anyone know of an fmu that is somwhat universal or one that can be mod'ed to work also i need to find a way to control the timing ........... ill check out hp tuners but if anyone els has any advise other then "get a differint car" or "get a honda" then plez post up .



lol no offense to the honda guys but ive turbo'd 2 civics and the fact that no one that i can find has turbo'd an olds Aurora makes me want to do it more ! it really gives me a chubby just to hear Psssstt come from under the car right when the trans shifts into 2nd at 6000rpms with the pipes Roarin that V8 tone ........ HeLL YES !!!!!!

HP tuners doesint offer any tunning set up for any northstar V8 vehicals .......... ---- ! ---- !!!!!! DAMIT ! ok so i gota get this ---- set up . and it cant blow up the first day i drive it ....... piggy back tuners and stand alones are a cost a ------ arm leg and a nut ! more then what i paid for the car in some cases . so far i just need to retard the timing and increase the fuel to the engine ............... sounds simple . but im not driving a honda.... or els id already have the damn turbo on there .... lucky basterds !!!! so any advise would help ! thanks for the posts .

Good luck finding an out of the box EMS to deal with the Northstar's dual crank sensor strategy.

Lol.

I was going to go Megasquirt with the one I have sitting in storage, but setup a different crank trigger scheme.
