I'm looking for a fuel pressure regulator. Has anyone used the B&M (Paul I know you have, shoot me a price when you have time.) Can anyone suggest one?

 

I have the B&M and havent noticed any issues...although I have read bad things about it

Is your stock not doing what it should be?

I have heard that the Aeromotive's are good units.

 

I've got an aem. I like it and would recommend it if you go the cash. No problems with it, but its very expensive. Also includes different discharge ports.

 

I am going to with a walbro 255 and I figured I should get a FPR.

 

I think you will need one with a 255lph. Also if you got a b&m i believe you have to modify/drill out to return enough fuel to the tank with that pump.

 

I have a B&M and didnt have to drill anything. I have the Walbro 255 lt/hr pump NOT the high pressure version.

I think your stock regulator will keep your rail pressure at the level it is supposed to. I think the HP versions are what throw some off...you shouldnt really need the HP version.

 

well I guess I was proved wrong and maybe you will be fine as long as you don't use the hp pump. I've heard of problems where fuel pressure at the rail was increased just by installing the walbro 255(due to the small return hole in the stock/b&m regulator) but then again maybe it was just with the hp pump. I have the walbro hp 255lph and an aem with the smallest discharge port. I think the aem is a damn nice unit but hell if you can use the b&m go for it. Its cheap

 

I was only interestd in the standard pump. I have no need for the HP. I will get the pump and throw a gauge on and see how I sit.

 

I think that is the best idea...no need buying it if you dont need it.

I kinda wish I wouldnt have bought mine after reading alot on it.
