I put in the fuel pump and there seems to be no change in the way it runs but I will have a gauge on it by the end of the week to know for sure.

Hey, I'm looking at a "Cosmo" fuel pressure regulator on e-bay. you guys heard anything about this company? Assuming it fits my car (already asked the guy, waiting for reply), does this look like a good one to get?

BTW, is a FPR necessary for 6-8 psi of boost?

That would work fine but it has nothing to do with my boost. I put in a higher flow pump and I am going to use the FPR to make sure my pressure stays stock.

Just be aware that FPR's do not work on OBD2

Yeah BBKA my car seems to running great with the stock FPR and the 255. I bought a Gauge and B&M adjustable from Paul99EX anyway. I really want the gauge to see if there was any change. He should be getting my check Friday. I may not use the regulator.

Are you using a b&m gauge? My b&m gauge didn't last very long. The glass lens blew off in about 3 weeks and a couple weeks later the gauge started to get fucked up. It became very inaccurate and started reading higher pressure than actual pressure. Every couple days the reading on the gauge would keep rising. Went from 40 to 80psi in about a week. It kept reading increasingly higher pressure until the needle was pinned and then didn't work at all. I got a liquid filled summit fp gauge after that. No problems with it for a few months now.
