Re: FMU + FPR Question

the stock fuel pump can flow a lot...but with bigger injectors.

with an FMU it increased the fuel pressure 12 psi for ever 1 psi of boost. so lets say at 10 psi, it will increase pressure by 120 psi, which is a lot.

Walbro pumps suck ass for FMU set ups because they do not flow well at high pressure. For you it would be better to get an inline fuel pump out of a drag or revhard kit and just use that.

Also don't listen to the people telling you to run a chipped ECU only. Chipping an ECU is the best way to go but only if you get it tuned by someone competant. FMU is way better than running on a basemap because for the 99% of the time you are not in boost, then you are running on stock everything as if you didn't even have a turbo.

One guy said he ran for a year on a basemap. Well there are about 234234 people who have run for a lot longer on an FMU and had 0 problems, just make sure you have a good fuel pump...that's the key.
