Default fmu+afc=?

is there a way to use an fmu inline with an afc and not switch to larger injectors? i know people say that niether one of these is good management but i have all the ---- i need to boost and wanted to know if using them together is better than one or the other.

i've seen it done. everyone says dont use either. especially dont use them together. but there's a del sol runnign around my neighborhood that wont listen to me and he's using stock injectors with an fmu and afc and he ritchened up top with the afc and its running hard as ----. wonder how long it'll last

90% of the boosted hondas in my area use an fmu and afc together....if you get the afc tuned decent it will run good and strong and last just as long as anything else...i have seen hatches with that run 11's no problem...

Hahahah "tuning" an AFC.. that's awesome.

Based on your MAP sensor signal, you're already "up top". If you're using stock injectors. If you how an AFC works... you're not going to get "more fuel" "up top" without throwing a check engine light...

...but I've written numerous posts on how an AFC works, look 'em up.

lol yeah for my gsr its going to be dynoed and chiped and tuned by a pro but im just slapin on some boost to a stock dx and seeing what happens. but i want to drive it i dont just wanna blow it. and i know you cant "tune" an afc but is there a write up on how to tweak one so its runs well. im at work so i have time to search but if someone knows of one right off the bat let me know.

my bad.....im pretty sure the guys around here running fmu+afc combinations are using like 310 cc injectors as well...im not saying its a logical choice over turbo edit or uberdata...just saying that it does work

If you're using larger injectors.. yes, you can get a bit more fuel.

However, turboDA6 is just ------ing silly rice lies.

got ya. but thats with changing injectors. i want this set up to be strickly bolt on. not doing any mods exept the bolt ons. i know you can use an fmu but they suck but i want to knwo if i use an afc will that help the fmu work better?
