fmu+afc=?

is there a way to use an fmu inline with an afc and not switch to larger injectors? i know people say that niether one of these is good management but i have all the ---- i need to boost and wanted to know if using them together is better than one or the other.

90% of the boosted hondas in my area use an fmu and afc together....if you get the afc tuned decent it will run good and strong and last just as long as anything else...i have seen hatches with that run 11's no problem... ;)

LOL half the money and you can run a chipped ECU with a prom burner.

Hahahah "tuning" an AFC.. that's awesome.

Based on your MAP sensor signal, you're already "up top". If you're using stock injectors. If you how an AFC works... you're not going to get "more fuel" "up top" without throwing a check engine light...

...but I've written numerous posts on how an AFC works, look 'em up. ::)

Then you bow down to Jason Parker and download Turbo Edit. While your at it you feel that this program is awesome and you can't see taking it for free so you make a large donation! ;)

lol yeah for my gsr its going to be dynoed and chiped and tuned by a pro but im just slapin on some boost to a stock dx and seeing what happens. but i want to drive it i dont just wanna blow it. and i know you cant "tune" an afc but is there a write up on how to tweak one so its runs well. im at work so i have time to search but if someone knows of one right off the bat let me know.

my bad.....im pretty sure the guys around here running fmu+afc combinations are using like 310 cc injectors as well...im not saying its a logical choice over turbo edit or uberdata...just saying that it does work

Re:fmu+afc=?

If you're using larger injectors.. yes, you can get a bit more fuel.

However, turboDA6 is just ------ing silly rice lies. ::)
