eng temp sensor

Default eng temp sensor

i just completed the mpfi swap it runs but my temp gauge shows nothing and th fan cam on so i know it was hot is this a comen problem, no codes

just because the fan doesnt come on doesnt mean its over heating.

the dash gauge and the coolant temp are two different things kid.

the sensor on the head(one wire) is not the sensor that tells your fan to come on.
you need a new coolant tyemp sensor
i got one for ya 15 shiped

My temp gauge always goes and pins itself in the redzone, no matter what it climbs up there in about 2 minutes, manual gauge read 190* all day long though

what needs to be replaceD?

the small one wire sensor on the dizzy side of the head.
