Exclamation Emulating with Ostrich 2.0 and TurbEdit 3.2.2

Hello Everyone,

Tuning is pretty new for me and I am having trouble making the Ostrich 2.0 work with TurboEdit 3.2.2.

I have a Honda CRX ED9 1990, with a PM7 ECU OBD0. I have got a chip installed in the ECU by icedfluid http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php?t=8161 and so far everything works just fine. However I want to emulate my ROM with the Ostrich 2.0 using TurboEdit 3.2.2 but I don't how to make the emulator and 'point tracking' work. I can send the ROM to the Ostrich 2.0 (and download it if I want) using TurboEdit 3.2.2 but when I plug it to the ECU with the file loaded in the Ostrich 2.0, the ECU sets itself to "Safe Mode" (the LED of the ECU stays on when i turn the key in the ignition)... I tried loading different maps but same results. When I put the EPROM back the LED goes off when i turn the ignition key and the car starts just fine. From what i see, putting the emulator off the socket and on gives the same resultats ('Safe Mode'). So far I have checked the following:

- The batterie in the Ostrich 2.0 displays 2.9Volts
- The switch on the Ostrich 2.0 are set up for 28 pin EPROM
- The cable connection with PC works just fine (I can communicate with the Ostrich 2.0 using TurboEdit 3.2.2)

Maybe I am not doing it right, could you by any chance help me out with that?

I look forward your answers.

Thank you all!

I have been trying to make it work again today but I am still getting nowhere... I am currently using a NG63 base map and still, when I load the binary file, the engine starts but I get ECU error codes. As you advised, I am reloading the binary file onto the emulator but not importing it. I hava got different ECU error like code 15 (Ignition Output Signal), 16 (Fuel Injector), 0 (Bad ECU) and 20 (electric load). However when I put the chip back, everything work perfect. Do you know I way I could check if the emulator is working, while the engine is running? I have tried to turn down the injection time while the engine is running but I get no significant change in behavior of the engine. On top of that when the engine is running with emulator, I get a rought idle and unstable engine behavior.
Thank you all for your time, I look forward your help!
