did not wan't to let it out because I know someone is gonna buy up all the probes and sell them on ebay for autometer's price but here you go.
$23 a probe kit.
www.aircraftspruce.com , then you need something to read it.

now I am running a top mount manifold and the egt is in the downpipe 3" away from the turbine outlet. Its about 100 degrees difference, I don't really use it to tune, I use it as a safety precaution to know when to let off while boosting on the autobahn my temps usually shoot up to 1600degrees at WOT 5th gear.
I use the zeitronix integrated in the wideband.

I really wanna install a knock monitor though.
do you already run water injection if not it can possibly help stabalize those temps

yes run water/methanol injection, but I don' notice any difference in egt temps, I do notice a difference in IAT though I've read that honda IAT sensors takes 15 seconds to give data. I am gonna try and data log to focus on the egt when I put the car back together. I have these mahle pistons with some really tight clearance maybe it will change the way my motor runs in all ways.

be careful with tight clearance.. or they are made to high hp and require this tight clearance i guess?? low thermal expansion.. or what ever..?? you know what your doing im sure..

the pistons are made with different type of alloy, I was researching it, they said something about high silicon content makes it less maleable , less expansion, so you use stock clearance.
