Default ECU control, need help!

I have a chipped PM6 ecu with a USB datalogging cable. Anyway, I just got a laptop. I plugged the usb cable in to my laptop, turn it on, started the car, ran ecu control and none of the gauges work or datalogging?? I'm using a ng55 1.8 map with imported pm7 ign. and fuel maps. I set the ecu to ng55 and tryed a few diff. com ports and nothing?? Please help??

Use the newest NG code (NG60) and use the newest version of ECU Control

www.ecucontrol.com

Then report back after you are using the latest and supported version of everything.

I just read a how-to on pgmfi.org and it say's you have to install a driver. Do you have a copy? Also where can get NG60 bins? I only see NG55 on turboedit.org and pgmfi??

As far as figuring out what port to use, if its serial...most likely its COM1

If its USB, you have to look in your device manager. if you dont know how to do that, check out Windows HELP r do a Google search.
