Me too. it run VERY fine at idle but it have problem at startup.

 

I have bluetops in my 90 civic with the smc, and it starts fine cold, but when its a little warm, I gotta crack the throttle a little or it starts at 100rpms and then dies. other than that, it runs fine.

 

I got bluetops in my del sol, With Cold starts will creep its way up to 1k. Wont die, but its better than having to gas it when I had the wrong fuel settings.

I have 450 blue tops in my eg with a smc+ and it has a hard time starting somtimes but i think its because of my intank pump. At idle my fuel gauge reads 55! I need to fix that ----.

 

dang just when i am sure i am going SMC + and 450's i hear about starting trouble and idleing never being the same. Is the trouble with them jsut minor tuning? Oh and are you running an aftermarket intank b16aturbopwrd.

 

i set my fuel pressure to 41 and -46 % on my SMC+ for the idle and it idle very.. Better than stock

 

yeah I have a intak pump. Thats why my fuel pressure is so high. I also have a stock regulator. You can get the 450s to ildle good it just takes a tunning and cursing.

 

My idle is as smooth as stock at -40% and even smoother as I enrichen it. -35% and there's no vibrations at all. but I still have the starting problem at any %

 

well i guess i am going DMC+ 450's and an intank pump. If all it takes is som tuning and cursing then i am all good with that..lol.

 

is the value of the actual resistor box the same on a honda as a DSM one?
