draw thru MAF meter?
hello, i have a mazda b2200 and was curious if i would be able to draw through the mass air flow meter on a turbo application. i plan low boost, around 5-7 pounds and will be running a wide band on it. just curious if anyone has any input on how or if this will run. thanks in advance!

This is a vane air flow meter, isn't it? If so, it is probably pinned fully open at high RPM and full throttle on the stock motor; you'll probably need some way to tune this thing and a bigger MAF (or a speed density ECU).

i dont believe that it is a vane air flow meter. it looks like a regular air flow meter. it looks like this one AIR FLOW METER LINK
the b2200 trucks come with the mazda F2 engine, same as in the ford probe gt's that came turbo charged (F2T), but with an 8 valve head, and a different ignition system.
i have heard/read so much about just being able to throw a turbo on a stock engine with low boost and it will run like stock when not under boost and be fine when in boost. so i kind of want to find out, but was curious if anyone had experience with drawing through a AFM or if they knew how it would work.
