Default DPFI question

ok i picked up a 88 hatch DPFI for a hundred bux...actually runs pretty ------- **** and has a/c.....but who cares....

Question.... I haven't seen one but who here has turbo'd a dual point injection system......using a ihi vj11 turbo for this setup....not looking to spend money on chipped ecu's for this shyt brick since i picked the car up for so cheap so i'm curious if a FMU say 8:1 will work?

For what it is and what you paid for it you might as well spend another $100 to convert it to multi point. Also if you converted to multi point youd probably be good with a 12:1 FMU and a bigger fuel pump for 7psi or less. I always have wanted to see what dual point would do with a basic set up though.

My buddy did one about 10 years ago. made it down sierra highway about twice before the rod wanted to say hi to lancaster streets.
